Scott Miller, MPT

Before founding Miller Physical Therapy, Scott served patients as a Senior Physical Therapist at Advanced Physical Therapy Associates and North Beach Physical Therapy and Wellness Center. For the former, he created the therapeutic treatment plans for each new patient at the clinic and provided essential training to staff therapists on injury prevention and manual techniques. For the latter, Scott specialized in treating post-surgical and orthopedic injuries.

These senior positions were preceded by experience providing physical therapy to his many patients at a variety of facilities for sports therapy, post-surgical recovery, and geriatric treatment. Scott treated patients and their injuries at Jackson Memorial Hospital on one of the clinic’s surgical teams and at Nova Southeastern University’s Osteopathic Treatment Center. At Sports Specialty Inc. in Weston Florida, Scott developed and provided treatments to top professional athletes including members of the Miami Dolphins.

Scott Miller is a licensed Physical Therapist in the state of Florida and an active member of the American Physical Therapy Association. He is a certified health and fitness instructor by the American College of Sports Medicine, and CPR & First Aid certified by the American Red Cross. An alumnus of Nova Southeastern University, it was there where he received his MPT in Physical Therapy.

Scott resides in Delray Beach with his wife Beth, daughter Jules, and son Brooks.  Scott enjoys spending time with his family, working out at Crossfit, participating in adventure runs, and is an avid tennis player.

Christopher Pope

Christopher Pope graduated from Physical Therapist Assistant school at the top of his class, while working as a full-time intern to gain maximum exposure within the field of Physical Therapy. Chris also enrolled in exercise science classes and pursued personal training certifications with the American College of Sports Medicine and the National Strength and Conditioning Association. This led Chris to acquire 4 years of work experience in the fitness industry as a personal trainer while pursuing his goal to work within a physical rehabilitation setting. The results? A unique and superlative perspective that has increased his enthusiasm and depth of knowledge in PT even further.

Chris has a particular passion and interest in areas that include orthopedic and neuro/psychomotor rehabilitation to improve function, reduce symptoms, and improve the overall well-being of the patient. Chris looks forward to a long career in physical therapy and/or healthcare management and is pleased to be presently a part of the Miller PT Team in Delray Beach, Florida.

On a more personal front, Chris has always enjoyed a healthy, fit lifestyle. He grew up playing soccer and played in high school and junior college, and still plays recreationally. Other than that he enjoys lifting weights, running, and (occasionally) swimming.

What draws Chris to physical therapy is his passion for helping people and for health, wellness, and fitness in general. The mechanics of human body and human movement captivates him. Plus, Chris is social and gregarious guy, and he feels it quite likely that being cooped up in a stay-in-one-spot kind of office job would grow stale for him quickly. Overall, Chris loves to get people healed, back on their feet, out of pain and returning to doing what they love.

Afuah Faith Bonsu

Afuah - who prefers to go by Faith (which is what her name means) has been a Physical Therapy Aide at Miller Physical Therapy since Oct 2016. She is currently working on her degree at FAU, and expects to graduate in 2018 with a B.S. in Exercise Science and Health Promotion. Her ultimate goal is to continue her education and work toward a career as a physician assistant in orthopedics/sports medicine. She is a sports fanatic, and hopes to eventually work in that field - in sports medicine or neuro-sports medicine.

Faith assists with patient treatment programs and performs a wide variety of duties including patient assessment, identifying patient care issues, teaching manual exercises to patients and documenting patient progress.

Faith is proud to have been born in New Jersey, but still considers Ghana, where her parents moved from, to be her home country. She loves to read, particularly sports and medical journals. Her desire to help others is not limited to the medical field. She regularly gathers clothing and supplies to donate to communities in Ghana. Faith has been a dancer since the age of two, and she volunteers at local Boys and Girls Clubs, teaching dance and mentoring girls. She would love to ultimately be able to open a center to mentor young girls and provide life skills and medical and dental treatment for low-income communities.
